Setting up PrivacyMaster doesn’t take long at all! Once you're in, it’s super easy to check out what it offers. The main window lets you pick the areas you want to clean up. You'll see two tabs dedicated to web browser security and Windows features, plus a third tab that shows all your results.

Supported Browsers

Now, here’s something to note: PrivacyMaster currently supports only Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. So if you're using other popular browsers, you're out of luck! But for those two, you can clear out downloads history, typed URLs, visited URLs history, form auto-complete data, cookies, temporary files, and saved passwords.

Cleans Up Windows Features Too!

If you're looking to tidy up some Windows features as well, this tool has got your back! You can erase temporary files, run history from the Start Menu or Run utility, recent document listings from the Start Menu, file history from both the Start Menu and Explorer, along with cleaning out the Recycle Bin. It even has dedicated controls that let you select everything with just one click!

How It Works

Your items won’t be removed just by selecting them. You’ll need to head over to the Erase tab after making your choices. Here’s where you review what’s on your list before hitting that “Erase” button. Everything is nicely organized into categories so it’s easy to go through them. And don’t worry; once you hit erase it only takes a few seconds before a log of events pops up on your screen!

The Bottom Line

In summary, PrivacyMaster has good intentions but falls short when it comes to web browser support which affects its overall usefulness quite a bit. Plus, there aren’t too many Windows features available for cleanup either—what a bummer! Still, it gets the job done quickly!
