Pregnancy is a handy tool for parents who like to plan everything down to the last detail. If you're someone who doesn’t want to leave things to chance, this app can help you calculate your baby’s due date and even their zodiac sign!
Now, let’s talk about the interface. You get to choose from three different themes, but honestly, it still feels a bit outdated and cluttered. At the top, you’ll find fields where you can enter the first day of your last period, plus two more settings: the average length of your menstrual cycles and the luteal phase.
In the lower part of the app, you can see your estimated due date along with when your little one might make their grand entrance into the world. It also shows when conception occurred, how far along you are in weeks (foetal age), and both European and Chinese zodiac signs. If horoscopes are your thing, that info could be pretty interesting!
The app makes guesses based on your menstrual cycle details but doesn’t really explain how it calculates these dates. It would definitely be helpful if there was an ovulation tracker included so you could know when you're most likely to get pregnant.
If you're not ready for a baby yet or just want to hold off for now, an ovulation calculator could come in handy too!
To be fair, though, this app has some limits. The info is pretty basic and shouldn't be taken as gospel since it only predicts due dates within about a month’s range. Plus, you could easily mark those dates on a regular calendar!
Still, Pregnancy might just save the day when you get that exciting news from your doctor and can’t even remember your own name! It's nice to have something quick at hand during those joyful moments.
