Pragers Webcam is a cool little tool made for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It connects your desktop to a webcam located in Bavaria, Germany. You get to see some pretty views of the Ochsenkopf in the Fichtel Mountains right from your screen!
Once you load it into the Yahoo! Widget Engine, it shows you live footage of Ochsenkopf right away. Plus, you'll see the date and time at the bottom on a black bar. It’s like having a window to Bavaria!
Now, you should know that you can't make the webcam frame bigger. But if you're curious and want an even better view of those mountains, just click on that black bar. It’ll take you to the developer's website where more stunning images await.
If the camera feed gets stuck, no worries! Just right-click anywhere on the webcam frame to open up a menu. From there, you can refresh the footage or tweak some settings for your widget preferences—those options are available for all Yahoo! Widget Engine gadgets.
You can keep Pragers Webcam on top of other windows or send it to the back if you prefer. Want it to ignore mouse clicks? You can do that too! There’s even an option to change how transparent it is so it blends nicely with your desktop setup.
Just remember, whenever you make any changes, hit that Save button so everything sticks! The developer didn't add extra customization options of their own, but there are still plenty of ways to make it work for you.
