Portecle is a handy Java-based software that helps you keep track of keys, key stores, certificates, certificate requests, and even revocation lists. It's got a bunch of simple settings that make it easy for anyone to use, even if you’re not super tech-savvy!

Easy Setup and Portability

So here’s the deal: You just need to have Java installed on your computer. There are no complicated setup packs or anything like that! Just drop the app's folder anywhere on your disk and click the JAR file to get started with Portecle.

You can also save it on a USB drive and run it on any PC that has Java without any hassle. Plus, Portecle won’t mess with your Windows registry settings or create extra files without your say-so. That means when you decide to uninstall it, there won't be any leftover junk hanging around.

User-Friendly Interface

The interface is super user-friendly! It uses a single window with a clean layout where you can easily add new key stores. You just need to specify what type you want, whether it's JKS, PKCS #1, JCEKS, BKS-V1 or UBER. No fuss!

Features Galore!

With Portecle, you can generate key pairs using DSA or RSA in your preferred size. You can also import trusted certificates and key pairs, change the type of key store you're using, set passwords, and even generate reports! Plus, it lets you examine certificates along with SSL/TLS connections and certification requests.

Stability and Performance

You’ll be happy to know we didn’t run into any stability issues while testing Portecle. It didn’t freeze up or crash on us at all! It responds quickly to commands and doesn’t hog system resources either—so it won’t slow down your machine at all.
