Portable Camino is a handy web browser you can take anywhere! It’s designed so you can easily carry it on any portable device, like a USB thumb drive, iPod, or even a memory card. All you need is about 45 MB of free space (or 60 MB if you're using MultiLang). Plus, it works on any Mac OS X computer while keeping your bookmarks, cookies, extensions, history, and saved passwords safe.
Getting started with Portable Camino is super easy. Just follow these steps:
If you'd like to bring over your user preferences to Portable Camino, there will be a prompt asking if you want to copy them when you start up. If you want to use the preferences from your system, simply click "Copy" when prompted!
Your application files and plugins are stored in the bundle: Portable Camino.app/Contents/Resources/app/. Everything you'll need is right there!
A quick heads-up: some features of CamiTool and other extensions might not work perfectly with Portable Camino. So keep that in mind while browsing!
