Description

PopUp Windows Blocker IEPopUpControl

PopUp Windows Blocker IEPopUpControl is a handy program designed to block those pesky popup windows that pop up when you're just trying to browse the web. You know, the ones that can be super annoying and interrupt your flow? This tool helps keep them at bay!

Easy Installation and Setup

Once you install it, you'll notice a new item called IEPopUpControl in the menu under View - Toolbars. This is where you can find the toolbar that helps you control those popups.

User-Friendly Toolbar Features

The blocker toolbar has three buttons that make it super easy to manage your settings. The first button lets you turn all blockers on or off globally. The second one allows you to turn the blocker on or off just for the current window in Internet Explorer. And the third button brings up a dialog for more detailed settings.

Main Control Button

The main button is key because it controls whether the blocker is active for your current window or not. If it's pressed, then popups are blocked; if not, they’ll come through. It's all about keeping your browsing experience smooth!

Simplified Management

The global on/off button makes life easier by letting you control all blockers at once instead of fiddling with each one individually.

Hotkeys for Flexibility

If you ever need to see those popups (maybe for testing something?), just hold down the CTRL key while browsing! This lets popups come through temporarily.

Limitations:

  • The freeware version doesn’t let you change and save settings.

  • You can only have one plugin installed at a time: either IEFlashHunter or IEPopUpControl.
