Once you pick the method that works best for you, it's easy to format your files using Polystyle from the Config Tool, Windows Explorer, or even the Command Line.

With just your mouse, you can define how your code should look while checking out changes as they happen! The Graphic Styler is super user-friendly compared to typing out example files manually. But here’s the catch: when you're typing code lines yourself, you're in charge of where everything goes—like brackets and comments. If you're not consistent with those edits, it might lead to a messy example file. On the flip side, the Graphic Styler keeps things tidy and consistent but has fewer styles for you to choose from.

Protect Your Code with Obfuscation

If keeping your code under wraps is important to you, Polystyle has a built-in obfuscator! This feature makes it harder for anyone else to understand what you've written by turning variables and functions into jumbled lines of code. It also gets rid of extra newlines so it’s tough for anyone to reverse-engineer it.
