PocketFMS makes flight planning super easy! It helps you plot your route, check weather conditions online, calculate performance and fuel needs, suggest alternate routes, and even compute weight and balance. Basically, it takes care of all the boring stuff for you. But hang on—there’s more to PocketFMS than just being another E6B tool!

What is PocketFMS?

PocketFMS is a handy Flight Management System that keeps getting better over time. It works well on Windows PCs and Pocket PCs to help you plan your flights and manage them while you're in the air.

Moving Map Feature

Once you're connected to a GPS receiver, the Moving Map feature kicks in. This cool tool guides you safely through any flight—whether you’re flying over Europe, Australia, Asia, or the US. You can see your current position right on the map along with your track, heading, speed, altitude—you name it! The Moving Map shows beacons, airports, restricted areas, frequencies, elevations—basically anything you want to see while flying.

Easy Flight Planning

No more stressing out about where to go! With PocketFMS, you can sit at your desk and prepare everything easily. Just pick your starting point and destination aerodromes. Then tell PocketFMS to fetch the weather data! It will draw up the route for you. You can tweak it by adding waypoints or avoiding certain airspace if needed. After each change you make, it recalculates the best route automatically!

How Does It Work?

When you're happy with your flight plan—all set with maps and weather info—you just click one button to transfer everything onto your Pocket PC. Grab your PDA with GPS receiver and off you go! Just keep that little airplane icon on the plotted line; you'll always know where you're at and when you'll get there!

The Download Package

The PocketFMS package, which you can download from this site (just click above!), comes with two programs: one for PCs running Microsoft Windows (Windows 2000/NT/XP) and another for Pocket PCs using Windows CE or higher. Both versions are fully functional without annoying ads or limits!
