PixelWindow is a nifty little tool based on Adobe Air. It gives you a handy on-screen adjustable ruler, making it super easy to measure distances and objects right from your computer screen. Web designers, for example, find it really useful!

Easy Setup with Adobe Air

If you don't have Adobe Air yet, don’t worry! Installing it is simple and once that's done, getting PixelWindow up and running is a piece of cake. You won’t need to spend much time setting it up at all.

User-Friendly Interface

The interface features a clear transparent window that acts like both a horizontal and vertical ruler. You'll see the current width and height displayed right in the center. Adjusting the size of the ruler? Just drag its edges with your mouse until it's just right!

Fine-Tune Your Measurements

You can fine-tune the size by holding down the Ctrl key along with the arrow keys to resize by 1 pixel or use Ctrl + Shift plus arrow keys for 5 pixels at a time. Once you’ve got your ruler sized up, move it over any object you want to measure or even between two things to check their distance in pixels.

Multiple Features at Your Fingertips

This frame can stay on top of other windows, which is super convenient! Plus, you can toggle fullscreen mode or create new frames since multiple instances are allowed. Want quick sizes? Set a frame to standard sizes like 800x600 or 1280x800 effortlessly. You can also copy width or height straight to your clipboard and adjust transparency using your mouse scroll wheel.
