Image Processing Notes

We had no trouble extracting text from these matrices. However, when it comes to images, only low-resolution versions seem to be stored in Pixeloid. Sure, you can increase the pixel count saved in the matrix, but be careful – doing this could mess up the image algorithm.

Potential Freezing Issues

A little heads up: sometimes Pixeloid freezes if you try encoding an image after processing text during the same session. It’s something they might need to fix in future updates.

Losing Transparency with PNGs

If you're working with PNG files, keep in mind that all transparency gets lost when they're stored in a matrix. This makes Pixeloid less suitable for certain types of images.
