Ping History is a handy little sidebar gadget that shows you a ping status graph right on your desktop. It's super simple to use and really useful for keeping tabs on your internet connection.
In the settings menu, you can pick which server Ping History will use to gather its data. Once you set it up, the gadget checks how well that server is reachable from your internet connection at regular intervals.
This tool measures the round-trip time in milliseconds and creates a graph showing the last two minutes of data. If you look at the top right corner of the gadget, you'll see both the most recent round-trip time and the highest one from those last two minutes. It's pretty cool!
Ping History is super valuable if you're trying to monitor a specific server or just want to check on your overall network performance. This is especially helpful for things like VoIP calls or online gaming where every millisecond counts.
If you're looking for an easy way to keep an eye on your network's performance, give Ping History a try! It's straightforward and gives you real-time updates right on your desktop.
