Important Note About Backups

If you have encrypted backups set up in iTunes, Picturescue won't be able to restore those files for you. Most of the time, though, iTunes creates unencrypted backups by default, which is great for recovery.

What to Keep in Mind

Remember that Picturescue can only restore files that are actually in the backups on your Mac. So if you haven't synced your phone recently, there's a chance some of your photos might not be backed up at all. Make sure to keep those backups up to date!
