Photo Date Changer is a super handy app for Mac that makes it easy to change the EXIF timestamps on your photos. Whether you have a few pics or a whole bunch, this tool helps you get the job done quickly!
To start using Photo Date Changer, all you need to do is drag and drop your photos into the right side panel of the app. It’s that simple! Once your images are in there, you can use the calendar controls on the left side to set new timestamp information.
The app has a top left drop-down menu where you can choose what kind of EXIF timestamp you want to set. You can pick a custom timestamp, copy the creation date, or even switch up the file creation date with your EXIF info!
If your camera was acting up and got the date wrong, no worries! There’s an option to manually tweak the EXIF timestamp by adding or removing time as needed. This way, your photos will reflect when they were actually taken.
Once everything looks good and you're happy with how you've customized those timestamps, just click on “Perform Changes.” This kicks off an automated editing process that takes care of everything for you.
Photo Date Changer works with lots of file types like CR2, NEF, CIFF, ARF, CRW, and JPEG. Just keep in mind that adding or subtracting time from timestamps is only available for JPEG files.
In short, if you need a reliable tool to handle EXIF timestamp changes on your photos fast and easily, Photo Date Changer is definitely worth checking out!
