There is a simple search facility which allows you to search for specific files on your local drive or network. You can also specify a wildcard such as '*.xml' and use more than one extension separated by a semi-colon as "*.xml;*.xsd".

You can re-open a file which you have recently used by going to the file menu and selecting Recent files. You are given the option to open one of the 5 most recently used files.

You are also given the option to clear this list and to remove any files which no longer exists from the list. If a file is selected for opening and it no longer exists you will get a warning and the file will be removed from the list.

You have the option to add items as a child or as an element in your XML file. You can change the name of the element. This allows you to edit both element and attributes at the same time. When you're done working you can save edited Xml files on your computer or print them easily.
