Pekwm, also known as the Pek Window Manager, is an open source, unobtrusive and completely free window manager based on the aewm++ project. It is designed to be used on Linux kernel-based operating systems.
Pekwm can run on any GNU/Linux distribution that uses the X.Org display server as an alternative to the default desktop environment. It is the default graphical session of various GNU/Linux distributions, including Manjaro.
The window manager supports both 64-bit and 32-bit CPU architectures and is available in main software repositories, making installation easy through graphical package managers. Additionally, Pekwm can be installed from the source package with simple commands.
After installation, Pekwm appears in the login manager for easy access. Simply choose Pekwm from the sessions dropdown menu to start using the Pek Window Manager.
