PDFsam Basic (previously called PDF Split and Merge) is a handy app designed for Mac OS X users. It helps you split, merge, mix, or rotate pages in your PDF documents with ease. The cool part? It’s built on a bunch of plug-ins that let you choose exactly what you need for your task.

The layout of PDFsam Basic is pretty straightforward. On the left side, you'll find a list of all the plug-ins you can use. On the right side, there are options to manipulate your PDFs. You can even check out the Settings from there too!

Lacking Advanced Features?

If you're after more advanced features like encrypting or decrypting PDFs, extracting attachments, or editing metadata, then this might not be the tool for you. While PDFsam Enhanced includes those functions, there’s no OS X version readily available—you’ll have to compile it yourself.
