Description

PDF Vista

PDF Vista is a super user-friendly PDF conversion program that acts like a virtual printer. Whether you’re new to this or have been using similar software for years, it’s got everything you need. You can easily set things up for font embedding, PDF metadata, and even password protection!

Easy Setup Process

Getting started with this application is quick and a breeze. Once it’s ready to go, you can find PDF Vista in any print function available through your installed applications.

User-Friendly Printing Preferences

As we mentioned earlier, this program is loaded with handy printing preferences that you can tweak just the way you like. So, hold off on converting those documents to PDFs right away!

Selecting Fonts for Your PDFs

The tool shows all the fonts available in a list, allowing you to choose any of them for embedding in your new PDF files. The cool part? By embedding fonts, you ensure they’ll show up correctly on any device.

Document Information Features

You can also add details like the title, subject, author, keywords, and even specify the Adobe version for compatibility (either PDF 1.3 or 1.4). By default, every time you want to print something, it asks for a file name and destination folder. But guess what? You can set it up to automatically save everything in one specific folder instead! Plus, it can overwrite existing files or rename them if needed.

Password Protection Options

The encryption feature is another great addition. It lets you protect your PDFs with a password so only certain users can access them. You get to pick between 40-bit (low) and 128-bit (high) encryption levels and manage permissions—like allowing printing or signing documents.

General Options at Your Fingertips

In terms of general settings, PDF Vista lets you select paper sizes (like A4 or letter), choose page orientation (portrait or landscape), and decide on PDF quality (resolution and scale).

Performance Insights

Throughout our tests with PDF Vista, we found that files converted into PDFs really quickly while maintaining high quality. The app was light on resources too—no freezing or crashing! With its easy-to-use settings designed for everyone from newbies to pros, PDF Vista definitely stands out as a reliable choice for creating PDFs.
