What is PCD Viewer FOR MAC?

PCD Viewer

PCD Viewer is a simple and user-friendly app for Mac OS X that lets you open and preview PCD (Kodak Photo CD) images. Plus, it can convert those images into popular formats like BMP, PNG, TIFF, and JPEG. It has an easy-to-navigate main window with a panel showing all the details of your PCD files.

Importing Your PCD Files

When you launch PCD Viewer for the first time, you'll be ready to import as many PCD files as you want! The app supports some pretty high-resolution files—up to 4096 x 6144 64-Base files. Just keep in mind that if you have a lot of large files, it might take a bit to get everything imported. Once it's done, you'll see thumbnails in a handy side panel.

Viewing Your Images

If you click on any thumbnail, the photo will pop up in a larger view right in the main part of the window. You can even switch up color profiles for different looks! And if you're into full-screen viewing, this app has got your back with support for Lion's full-screen feature.

Converting Your Images

As we mentioned earlier, PCD Viewer makes it super easy to convert Kodak Photo CD files into more commonly used formats. To do this, just hit that Export button located on the bottom bar after selecting your image.

A Handy Tool for Mac Users

Overall, PCD Viewer is an uncomplicated OS X application that saves you time when working with PCD files. Not only does it allow you to view these images in various color profiles and in full-screen mode, but it also lets you quickly convert them into popular photo formats in just seconds!
