Setting Up Your Hot-Key Shortcut

To get started with all the cool features of Pasteomatic, just open the Preferences menu. Here, you can set a hot-key shortcut that works for you! Once that’s done, simply hit that key whenever you want to bring up your snippets.

Add New Snippets Easily

Add new text snippets by clicking the Plus button located at the bottom left of the interface. It’s really simple! You can also rename, move around, or delete snippets as needed. Got some snippets in other documents? No problem! You can import them too.

User-Friendly Snippet Management

When you call up Pasteomatic using your hot-key, a pop-up dialog will appear—kind of like OS X’s native Spotlight.app. This dialog shows your snippet list along with a search field at the top and a preview section on the right.

Search and Preview Your Snippets

You can easily search for any snippet and preview it before pasting. Just double-click on any snippet to paste it directly into whatever app you're working in!
