Getting Started with Passy

When you first open the program, you'll need to set up an account name and choose a master password. This master password is super important because it's the key to getting into your vault. Make sure to remember it or write it down safely!

User-Friendly Interface

Once you're in, you'll see a clean layout with options for storing different types of information: passwords, payment details, ID cards, notes, and identities. You can easily start adding whatever matters to you—like your email account in the Passwords section or a secure note in the Notes area.

Add Details Easily

You’ll find lots of fields to fill out when adding info. These help clarify things and make it easier for you to keep track of everything. For example, if you use Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication (2FA), you can add those keys here too! Plus, there’s an option to create custom fields if you've got something unique in mind.

Password Generation Made Easy

If you're worried about coming up with strong passwords on your own, don’t sweat it! Passy includes a handy password generator that lets you create complex passwords whenever needed.

Synchronization Features

Backup and Restore Your Data

If you ever need to back up or restore your vault, just go to the Settings. When backing up, it'll export everything into a .zip file with some .enc and .json files inside. This makes transferring data between different password managers easy!
