Origin Balance is a super handy app that helps you keep an eye on stock market transactions. It connects you to various types of accounts with stock market data providers, so you can see what's happening with the companies you care about.
Stay Updated on Stock Market News
You can easily use Origin Balance to get the latest stock market news for your favorite companies. Just create a new account with one of the supported providers, like Fidelity, Google Finance, MSN, or TDAmeriTrade. After that, make a list of the companies you're interested in and watch their share price trends.
Import Your Company List
Once your account is set up, open it using the option in the File menu. You can import your list of watched companies too! The software supports .TXT files saved in Unicode format. Just list down the symbols of the companies and upload it! The app will fetch updated info from online sources.
Get Real-Time Quotes
For each company on your list, Origin Balance shows you the current share price along with how much it's gone up or down. To get fresh quotes, simply select the option from the context menu. Remember to ask for new quotes manually because they don’t refresh automatically.
Easily Access Online News
This software also lets you check out recent news about specific companies. Just double-click on any company you're curious about, and you'll see all available headlines and sources in a new tab. If you want to go back to your list of companies, just hit the 'Esc' key!
Create Your Own Portfolio
The Portfolio tab is like your personal file where you can track shares you've bought or sold. With Origin Balance, keeping up with stock market news and quotes for your favorite companies is easy! You can watch price changes over time and even simulate buying or selling shares.
