Notes+ is a neat little OS X app designed to bring some order into your life. It's all about helping you stay organized by letting you write notes and keeping them right at your fingertips. Once you install it, this app finds its cozy spot in the OS X status bar menu, so accessing it is just a click away!
The best part? Using Notes+ is super easy! It has a clean and compact interface that makes jotting down notes feel like a breeze. You can toggle between two menus: one for your notes and another for your favorites. Need to change settings or add a new note? Just hit the buttons at the top right corner. Plus, there's a handy search field at the bottom to find any note you need.
You can even set Notes+ to launch automatically when your system starts up, which is pretty useful! And if you want quick access, there's an option to make it pop up with a hotkey combination.
Now, we did run into some hiccups while testing Notes+ on different Macs with OS X 10.10 and 10.9. Sometimes, it was tricky adding new notes or marking favorites. But don't worry! You can usually fix this by clicking on its menu bar item to close and reopen the main window—easy peasy!
A little feedback for the developers: it would be awesome if Notes+ had built-in options for exporting notes or quickly sharing them via email with friends or colleagues.
All in all, while Notes+ isn't packed with features, its focus on simplicity makes it both useful and unobtrusive. We hope that future updates will smooth out those minor bugs and add some cool features!
If you're ready to get organized, check out Notes+.
