Notate is a cool notes and task management app that helps you keep all your project info in one place, nice and organized. It's super handy for anyone who juggles different projects!
You can use Notate just on your device without any backups if you prefer that. But if you go for one of the subscription plans, you'll get 20GB of cloud storage! This means you can sync everything across your devices easily.
Notate comes with some smart notebooks already set up for you. These help you find notes quickly—like recent ones, favorites, or even those you've deleted. Plus, you're free to create your own notebooks too!
If you're someone who likes to keep things tidy, Notate lets you organize entries manually in a simple notebook. Or, if you'd rather let the app do some of the work, there's a smart setting that sorts entries based on keywords! You can also filter results by entry type or attachments.
The text editor in Notate has all the basic word processing tools you'll need. You can even change the background color or attach files! When you're ready to share your work, you can export it as an RTF or PDF document—or just print it out directly!
When it comes to tasks, Notate lets you organize them by project or smart project. It also allows sorting by different criteria. Just keep in mind that there's no way to create a hierarchy for projects or tasks.
You can track task status in Notate by setting start dates and due dates, plus reminders and priority levels. However, there's no option to attach files here; it's pretty much a minimalist text field for keeping info.
The great thing about Notate is that it lets you make detailed notes that include text alongside audio clips, images, videos, or other document types! This way, all your info stays together.
You can also manage upcoming tasks by project using Notate. Just remember—you can't view them in a hierarchical order.
You have options with how to store your data! Keep everything local if that's what you want—or grab a subscription plan to sync across devices. Just note that while there are no backup options available within Notate itself, individual notes can be exported as PDFs or RTFs if needed.
