NOLA READY is the official safety app of the City of New Orleans. It is the only app that integrates with City of New Orleans's safety and security systems. The City of New Orleans has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty, and staff with added safety in the City of New Orleans. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to community safety resources.

• Weatherwise: In partnership with WeatherSTEM, get up-to-date weather reports


• Make a Plan: Access to Emergency Plans. Make a plan with your family for hurricane season, and for other emergencies too


• Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, the user picks their destination and their friend tracks their location in real-time


• Entergy Outage Map: Register for Outage Alerts. Get the latest outage updates


• SWBNO's Pumping and Power Dashboard: Customers can test the dashboard and provide feedback to SWBNO via email at [email protected]. The page will continue to evolve as we add more capabilities and receive user feedback. We are working to optimize the page for mobile


• NOLA 311: Submit a 311 Report


• Volunteer: Get involved with a disaster volunteer organization before an emergency to increase your ability to help when help is needed


• Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from the City of New Orleans safety when community emergencies occur
