Compatibility:

Although nnn is not specifically designed for Windows, it can run smoothly on Linux, Raspberry Pi, Termux, and the Cygwin subsystem of Windows.

Installation:

Installing nnn may require the use of a curse library with wide character support, standard libc, and libreadline. If you choose to install it from the source package, you will need to install the necessary dependencies and compile them. The PREFIX function is also available for customized installations.

Modes:

nnn offers three modes: detail (default), disk usage analyzer, and file picker. As a file manager, it provides smooth navigation, four workspaces, bookmarks for easy access to folders, numeric name sorting, and case-sensitive version sorting.

Query Option:

The query option in nnn allows for instant filtering with search-as-you-type, subtree search for editing files, and substring/regex matching. It also provides detailed file information and the ability to open text files in your default editor.
