Description

Ninotech Date Edit

Many users want to differentiate between file versions or streamline files according to the date and time info. However, you cannot manually modify the file access, creation, and modification dates in Windows, which leaves you with no other option than to use a third-party application to perform such tasks.

Ninotech Date Edit is a lightweight tool that can solve this issue, providing a simple method for modifying the timestamp of your files. Ease of use is one of its advantages, which makes it suitable for any type of user, whether it is a beginner or a professional.

Key Features:

  • Simple method for modifying file timestamps

  • Lightweight tool for easy use

  • Context menu integration for quick access to edit attributes

  • Ability to process multiple files simultaneously

Technical Specifications:

Once installed, the application adds a new item to the context menu of any file, enabling you to edit the date and time attributes without a lot of hassle.

Right-clicking on the file whose attributes are to be changed reveals the new 'Edit Date' option in the context menu. Selecting this new item opens a separate window that integrates all three attributes for the created, modified, and last accessed date and time, together with input panes for editing them. Pressing the 'Now' button automatically selects the current day and time values, so you don't have to do this manually.

You can verify that the application worked properly by looking at the new file timestamp in the 'File Properties' window.

Although it is just a simple shell extension, ease of use makes Ninotech Date Edit a viable tool for managing file timestamps.
