Nice Timer

Nice Timer is a minimalist yet super handy macOS app that combines countdown and stopwatch features. It has a stylish and clean look, plus it comes with a resizable window and 10 cool color themes to customize how it looks on your screen.

Customizable Design

The best part? You can resize the Nice Timer main window however you like! This means you can easily find a spot for it on your desktop without blocking other apps. If you prefer to go big, the app also has fullscreen support. You can switch between these two modes through the Window menu or just use the Command + F hotkey. Simple as that!

Color Themes

With 10 different color themes, you're sure to find one that fits your style. Just keep in mind, while you can choose a theme, there's no option to create your own color palette. That might be a bit of a letdown for some users.

Timer Mode

By default, Nice Timer starts in timer mode. You can set the countdown for hours, minutes, or seconds. Once the countdown ends, it gives you both visual and audio alerts so you know it's time to start over.

Stopwatch Mode

If you're in the mood for timing something instead of counting down, just switch to stopwatch mode! The Nice Timer keeps going until you stop it yourself. There are even keyboard shortcuts available for starting or pausing the timer and resetting it when needed.

Basic Features

While Nice Timer does what it needs to do pretty well, remember that it's got some basic features. For each new countdown, you'll have to set the timer interval from scratch—there's no option for running multiple timers at once either.
