New Baby is an accessible and intuitive program that comes in handy especially for delivery rooms, nurses, and doctors, to enter and manage relevant information about numerous new babies, and be notified about pending records.

The app itself is not complicated, however, the installation process requires a suite of important steps that can be found in the extracted folder. Make sure you follow each stage carefully, as one wrong move can make the tool unresponsive and unable to run. Plus, Access Runtime is needed on your hard drive, along with all its related components.

New Baby is wrapped in a simplistic and self-explanatory interface that can be accessed even by those less experienced. It consists of a single window, with all the necessary fields and options in plain sight. To create a new entry, simply fill in the required details, such as patient room and name, social security ID, mother's blood type, born date and time, along with the gender, weight and height, and the admittance. You can enter, if the patient did any kind of anesthesia (e.g. spinal, epidural, gen, local), the baby's doctor, and delivery type.

When an entry is pending, the second tool that comes with the main application keeps track and queues all the records in a basic list, where you can view several details about each baby. Unfortunately, the database can't be exported to XLS or CSV file, for further editing.

A nice function is the ability to run the program on multiple workstations or just on a single one, making the process much faster and easier for the entire staff. The notification is sent to the secretarial office, so the person in charge, can open and view the item, and enter it into the main database.

Taking everything into account, New Baby is a reliable and user-friendly utility designed to offer a simple yet professional method, to insert records of newborns, and deliver notifications to the proper department, for further modification.
