Simple Installation Steps

The app itself is pretty straightforward to use, but installing it does come with a few steps you have to follow carefully. You can find these steps in the folder after you extract it. Just make sure you don’t skip anything because one little mistake could cause the program to not work at all! Also, don’t forget that you need Access Runtime on your computer along with its components.

User-Friendly Interface

What’s really cool about New Baby is its simple and clear interface. Even if you're not super tech-savvy, you’ll find it easy to navigate. Everything you need is right there on one screen! To add a new baby, just fill in details like their name, room number, social security ID, mother’s blood type, birth date and time, gender, weight, height, and admission status. You can also note if the baby had any anesthesia during delivery (like spinal or epidural), which doctor attended the birth, and what type of delivery it was.

Keeping Track of Records

If there are entries waiting to be completed, there's another tool that helps keep track of those records in a simple list format. You can see important details about each baby there. However, it's worth mentioning that unfortunately you can't export this database to XLS or CSV files for editing later on.

Multi-Workstation Capability

An awesome feature is that New Baby can run on multiple computers or just one! This makes everything faster and easier for everyone involved. Notifications get sent to the secretarial office so they can check things out and update the main database when needed.
