Once you launch NAS Herder, the first thing to do is scan your device for ReadyNAS files on your LAN. It can display up to five systems at once, showing you details like host name, IP address, MAC address, model, and architecture of each system. Just pick one that you want to monitor.

Status Monitoring Made Easy

After selecting a system, NAS Herder shows its status and lets you ping it easily. The scanning process only takes a few seconds, so you won’t be waiting around.

Custom Notifications

You can also enter details like host name, IP address, MAC address, and password for a NAS. Plus, notifications are adjustable! Get alerts when your CPU or disk temperatures go over certain limits. You can even choose colors for these alerts!
