Installing myriaCross Album is a breeze! However, I have to say, the graphics look a bit old-school. But hey, if that doesn’t bother you, then you're good to go! You can choose between English and French—just pick the one that feels right for you.

No Customization Options

Now, if you're someone who loves customizing things, this app might not be your favorite. It doesn't offer much in the way of customization options, and the toolbar hangs out at the bottom of the window. But no worries! There are tips and instructions included to help you get started.

Easy Browsing Features

You can easily browse through your computer to load pictures or just drag and drop them into the application. It supports a bunch of file formats like music, pictures, cross-stitching files, embroidery, knitting, and quilting files too! Once you load them up, everything is displayed as thumbnails with their names.

Hover Over for Details

If you hover your mouse over any image thumbnail, myriaCross Album will show you all sorts of info: file path, type, creation date, category, title, and size. You can also zoom in on thumbnails easily; however, keep in mind that it doesn't allow image previews.

Create Categories & Backup Options

The best part? You can create all kinds of categories to make organizing super easy! Plus, there's an option to back up your album database so you'll never lose any important files.

Contact Sheets & More!

You can even create contact sheets by adjusting the number of thumbnails displayed along with sheet size and background color preferences. Overall, myriaCross Album is really useful when it comes to organizing and managing both picture and cross-stitching files!
