- Your myGov sign-in will change to use the app-generated code.
- Register your device automatically for the app.
Using the App
Steps to use the app:
- Visit my.gov.au
- Sign in to myGov with your credentials
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app
Uninstalling or Changing Device
To avoid losing access, remember to change your myGov account settings if you uninstall the app or switch devices.
If You Lose Your Device
If you lose your device with the app, access your account via the sign-in backup and update your myGov account settings accordingly.
App Timer and Code
A new code is generated every 30 seconds. Use the code within 30 seconds as it expires. Copy and paste the code for quick access.
