MyFm is a cool little widget designed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It lets you quickly tune into MyFm 101.8, a popular Chinese radio station from Malaysia. The best part? It's super easy to install and set up since it doesn't come with a bunch of customization options.
The interface is pretty straightforward, featuring a small frame that loads the station right when you start it up. You can easily move it around your screen by dragging it with your mouse, plus it can stay on top of other windows. This means you can keep an eye on your tunes while working on other stuff!
You can access MyFm's website through the widget, and adjusting the volume or muting it is a breeze. Just a heads up, though—you can't use the mouse scroll wheel or arrow keys for these controls.
This widget offers high-quality audio while using very little CPU and memory. So, don’t worry—it won't slow down your computer or interrupt what you're doing. In our tests, we didn't see any error messages, and the app ran smoothly without crashing.
Unfortunately, since the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, MyFm won’t be getting any more updates in the future. But don’t let that scare you off! This tool is easy to use even if you're not super tech-savvy.
