MyFm is a cool little widget designed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It gives you quick access to MyFm 101.8, a Chinese radio station from Malaysia. Setting it up is super easy, and there’s no complicated stuff to customize.
The installation process is a breeze! Once you’ve got it set up, the widget pops up in a small frame that automatically loads the station. You can drag it anywhere on your screen, which makes it really handy while doing other things on your computer.
You can even keep it on top of your other windows, so you won’t miss a beat while multitasking. The widget lets you control the volume and mute if needed, but just a heads-up—you can't use the mouse scroll wheel or arrow keys for that.
One of the best things about MyFm is its audio quality. It streams smoothly without hogging your CPU or memory, so you can keep working without any slowdowns. During our tests, we didn’t run into any error messages or crashes.
A little bummer though: since the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, MyFm won't be getting any updates in the future. But don't worry! It’s super user-friendly and perfect for folks who aren’t tech wizards.
