Description
Multiple Processor Monitor
Multiple Processor Monitor is a handy little app made for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. As you might guess from its name, it helps you keep an eye on how your computer's multiple core systems are doing. It's super easy to install and set up, so you can get started in no time!
Lightweight and User-Friendly
This lightweight widget comes with a simple interface. It shows up as a small window that you can move around your screen using your mouse. By default, the frame's opacity is set to 0%, which means it’s invisible until you change that setting in the Widget Preferences panel. You can find this option by right-clicking on the widget.
Track CPU Activity with Ease
The main window of Multiple Processor Monitor is straightforward and clear. It gives you a graphical look at your computer's CPU cores (up to four). This way, you can easily spot any spikes in usage, along with the percentage value for each core. However, one downside is that it doesn’t let you record this activity or save it for later review.
Customizable Options
You have some control over how the widget looks too! Besides changing the background opacity, you can pick update time intervals and choose colors for the background, graph, and font. Thanks to Yahoo! Widget Engine’s default settings, you can also make sure the frame stays on top of other windows if needed. Plus, there are options to ignore mouse events and prevent dragging.
Performance That Won't Slow You Down
The best part? Multiple Processor Monitor is really light on your system's resources! It uses very little CPU and memory while running smoothly during our tests—no hangs or crashes here!
No More Updates
Just a heads-up: since the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, this useful app won’t be getting any updates going forward. But don’t worry; Multiple Processor Monitor still works great for anyone wanting to keep track of their core activity—especially gamers who need that extra monitoring.
