Multiple Processor Monitor is a user-friendly app built for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It lets you keep an eye on how your computer's multiple core systems are doing, just like it sounds. Installation and setup are a breeze!
This lightweight widget has a clean and simple interface. You get a small window that you can move anywhere on your screen with just your mouse. It's super convenient!
When you first start up, the frame’s opacity is set to 0%. To see it, head over to the Widget Preferences panel by right-clicking. From there, you can tweak this setting and make the window more visible.
The main window shows off a graphical representation of your CPU cores—up to four at once! This makes it easy to spot any spikes in usage and check out the percentage value for each core.
A little downside? You can't save this activity to a file for later review. So while it's great for real-time monitoring, don’t expect any logging features.
You can also customize things like the window's background opacity, update time intervals, and colors for the background, graph, and font. Plus, with Yahoo! Widget Engine's default options, you can keep the frame on top of other windows or ignore mouse events if needed.
This app is super light on system resources! It uses minimal CPU and memory while giving you quick response times. In our tests, Multiple Processor Monitor ran smoothly without crashing or throwing errors.
Even though Yahoo! discontinued the Widget Engine project (which means no more updates), Multiple Processor Monitor is still handy for users who want to monitor their CPU activity—perfect for gamers looking to optimize their performance!
