What is Multiple Processor Monitor?

Multiple Processor Monitor

Multiple Processor Monitor is a user-friendly app that works with the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It helps you keep track of what’s happening with multiple core systems, just like the name says. Setting it up is a breeze, so you'll be monitoring in no time!

Easy Setup and Lightweight Design

This widget is super light and comes with a simple interface. You get a small window that you can drag around your screen however you want, thanks to your mouse cursor. It’s all about flexibility!

Adjustable Opacity for Customization

When you first start, the frame’s opacity is set to 0%. But don’t worry! You can easily change this in the Widget Preferences panel by right-clicking on the window. Play around with it until it looks just right for you.

Monitor Your CPU Cores

The main window of Multiple Processor Monitor is straightforward and easy to read. It shows a graphical display of your computer's CPU cores—up to four at once. This way, spotting spikes in usage becomes a piece of cake, along with seeing the percentage value for each core.

No Recording Options Available

A little downside? Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to record this activity or save it for later review. But if you're keeping an eye on things in real-time, that's not too big of a deal.

Customize Backgrounds and Colors

You can also tweak some settings like background opacity, update time intervals, and colors for the background and graphs. Plus, if you want your frame to stay on top of other windows or ignore mouse events, those options are available through Yahoo! Widget Engine settings.

Light on Resources

This app doesn’t hog system resources either; it uses very little CPU and memory. In our tests, Multiple Processor Monitor ran smoothly without any lagging or crashing!

No More Updates?

Just a heads up: since the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, Multiple Processor Monitor won’t be getting any updates in the future. Still, it's perfect for users who want to keep tabs on their CPU activity—especially gamers looking to monitor their performance.
