What is Muezzin?

Muezzin is a super helpful desktop app for Muslims who want to keep track of their prayer times no matter where they are. If you’re traveling or living outside an Islamic country, it can be a bit tricky to know when it’s time to pray. But no worries, Muezzin has got your back!

Easy Setup and Notifications

Once you install the app, you’ll see a friendly home page that shows a countdown to each of the mandatory prayers throughout the day. At the top, it tells you how much time is left until the next prayer along with the current date and time. And guess what? When it's time to pray, Muezzin will send you a notification and play a sound so you won’t miss it.

Customizable Prayer Alerts

You can choose if you want to hear the Adhan when it's time for prayer, or if you'd rather use your own audio files for those moments. Plus, setting your location is easy! This way, Muezzin will give you the correct prayer times based on where you are right now. If those times seem off, no problem! You can tweak them yourself using the Adjustment tab in Settings.

Accessing the Qur'an Made Simple

This app doesn't just help with prayer times; it also has the Qur’an in Arabic right there for you! Need to check something from this holy book? Just open up Muezzin and it's all at your fingertips.

Personalize Your Reading Experience

You can even customize how the Qur’an looks from Settings by changing fonts or adding translations in your own language. Currently, Muezzin supports 10 different languages but plans to include more soon!
