Why Use MSOComprex?

If you ever need those original images back after editing the text, you can restore them as long as you haven’t changed the images or messed with the layout.

Getting Started

The application doesn’t come packed with tons of documentation, but there’s a readme file that’ll help guide you through getting started. Here’s the scoop: if your goal is to remove all the images from a document, simply drag and drop your desired file onto MSOComprex.bat. After that, you’ll get a new file that has a _CPX suffix where all the pictures have been swapped out for a green cross icon.

Reversing the Process

If you want to go back to your original file with all its images intact, just use that _CPX file on the same BAT file again. The new file will include all your original images and will be renamed to _CPX_RESTORED!
