Key Features:
- Solves double-click issue by setting a minimum delay between clicks
- Works with most mouse buttons
- Runs quietly in the system tray
- Ignores double-clicks with too little delay between button presses
- Customizable thresholds for each mouse button
Technical Specifications:
- File: MouseDebouncer32.exe
- Publisher: Marvin Lehmann
- Price: FREE
- Compatible with: Windows
- Latest Update: April 23, 2025
Mouse Debouncer gets around the double-click problem by setting a minimum delay between clicks for the action to be registered. It works with most mouse buttons and runs quietly in the system tray.
Customizable Settings:
When the application is running, you can right-click its system tray icon to view the configured thresholds for every mouse button, as well as the number of double-clicks that have been blocked. You can monitor the right, middle, and side mouse buttons, as well as customize the delay for each one.
If you simply launch the executable file, the utility will only monitor the left mouse button and use the default 60 ms threshold. However, if you wish to change these options, you can do so using command-line arguments.
On the whole, Mouse Debouncer certainly gets the job done, but it would be great if it were possible to modify the settings from the GUI. Nevertheless, it can still be configured pretty easily, provided you read the instructions listed on the project's GitHub page.
