Moonlight (formerly known as TimeTrakker) is a handy app that helps you keep track of your projects by monitoring the time spent on various tasks. It's especially great for people who charge their clients by the hour.

Sync Across Devices

If you're always on the go, you can use the Moonlight iOS app. This lets you sync timers across different devices, so you can easily manage your projects no matter where you are.

User-Friendly Design

The interface of Moonlight looks just like the iOS app and has a clean, minimalist design. However, it’s a bummer that there aren't any extra visual themes available to personalize your experience.

Easy Navigation, But Room for Improvement

The menus are pretty straightforward to navigate. Still, it would be nice to see an updated layout that uses more of the screen space on Macs. This could give you a clearer picture of how each project is doing.

Manage Your Tasks Efficiently

You can create projects and assign multiple tasks to each one. Each task can have several time entries too! You can add new entries manually or edit them whenever needed.

No Pause Feature Yet

A little downside is that you can't pause a timer and pick it back up later. If you stop tracking time, you'll automatically create a new entry when you start again. Plus, Moonlight doesn’t notify you when a timer hits a specific value—something that could help keep track of your work better.

Client Fee Calculations Needed

If you're in certain professions, having an automatic calculation for client fees based on hourly rates would be super useful!

Data Management Limitations

Right now, you can only save or share your account data through the iOS app since the OS X version doesn't allow exporting data at all.

Accessing Moonlight Easily

You can quickly pull up Moonlight from your Mac’s menu bar if you want to see timers or bring up the main window. Just keep in mind that you'll still see its Dock icon even though it doesn’t do much!

A Reliable Time Tracking Tool

Overall, Moonlight is a solid tool for tracking time and works well if you're already using the iOS app on your iPhone or iPad. But it does miss out on some helpful features and lacks smooth integration with OS X.
