Easy Setup for MONIT
When you launch the MONIT app, you'll see a Welcome panel that guides you on how to activate the companion widget in the Notification Center. Don't worry; both the instructions and the process are super simple!
What Does MONIT Show?
Once you get MONIT set up in your Notification Center, it will show gauge buttons that represent CPU, Memory, and Disk usage. Plus, it gives you updates on your network status too!
Customizing Your View
The MONIT widget comes ready to display stats about both system and network performance right off the bat. But if you'd prefer to focus on just one area, no problem! You can easily switch things up through the Info panel.
Diving Deeper into Data
The default view of MONIT gives you general stats for each parameter. But if you're curious about more details, just click on any of the gauges or network status buttons. This will let you see specific info like:
- The CPU power used by either the user or system
- The number of active processes or threads
- Your current uptime
- Your GPU model
- The memory stats: wired, active, compressed
- Available physical memory
- Used and free space for each connected drive
Network Insights with MONIT
If you're checking out the network panel, you'll find information like public and local IP addresses for every available connection. You can also track upload and download rates there!
