Momentum is a handy app that can help you stay focused and build good habits. You know how we always say we'll read that book on our nightstand or start exercising? Well, it’s super easy to keep putting those things off. But with Momentum, you get a little push to keep going!
Track Your Habits
Once you install the app, you can start adding any habits you want to track. Whether it’s reading every day, working out, or learning a new skill, you can set these up for specific days or even give them weekly goals. Got something that needs to be done at a certain time? No problem! You can set reminders and get notifications right when you need them.
Add Notes for Each Day
Sometimes, you'll want to jot down important details about your tasks. Momentum lets you add notes for each day so you're all set when it’s time to perform your activity.
Stay Motivated with Streaks
The app tracks both your current streak and your longest streak for each habit. This gives you an extra boost of motivation! And if life gets in the way and you need to skip a day (or two), don't worry—you won’t break your streak!
A Few Improvements Needed
Now, while Momentum is pretty awesome as is, there are some things that could make it even better. For instance, once you've added your habits, you can't change their order. Also, being able to color-code different activities would help make everything easier to see at a glance.
User-Friendly Design
You’ll find Momentum hanging out in your Dock and status bar. You can open it as its own window or keep it as a menulet. However, just a heads up—you can't completely remove the Dock icon.
