Miru is a super cool desktop app made for fans of anime, manga, and all that awesome Japanese media we love. If you're not a fan of browsing the internet for your favorite comics or shows, Miru has got you covered! You can access tons of content right from your desktop, making it easy to dive into the stories you enjoy.

Get Started with Miru

Before jumping in, check out the Extension Repository. This is where you'll find different sources for your anime and manga. Some work great, while others might not be as reliable. For instance, I found that ZeroScans and MangaDex didn’t work well for me. But no worries! There are plenty of other options available.

Dive into Your Favorites

Once you've added a few extensions, searching for what you want becomes a breeze! Whether you're after manga, light novels, or even videos, there’s something here for everyone. It’s smart to have multiple sources just in case one has better quality than the others.

Your Custom Home Page

Each title comes with its own page that usually includes a synopsis along with chapters or episodes to read or watch. You can easily add your favorites to your Home page by hitting the Favorite button next to each title. This way, you can find them quickly whenever you're ready to enjoy them!

Your Viewing Experience

The best part? Anything you're currently watching or reading will show up right on your Home page too! This makes it super easy to pick up right where you left off without any hassle.

Smooth Quality and No Ads!

I found the video quality and manga scans pretty good overall! Just keep in mind that how well things look might depend on which extensions you choose. The nice thing about Miru is that it’s designed to give fans like us a smooth experience without annoying ads or pop-ups getting in the way.
