Description
MiRdup is an application that can be used for the computational prediction of the localization of microRNAs withing their pre-miRNA.
MiRdup works in three simple steps:
· You can train a model on a training dataset from miRbase or your sequences
· Validate miRNAs on predicted precursors based on a trained model
· Predict miRNAs positions on precursors sequences based on a trained model
Being developed using the Java programming language, MiRdup can be run on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
