Mini NoteTab is a handy app that helps you write and edit lots of drafts. It even auto-scrolls the content for easy reading and lets you keep important documents in a favorite list!
Even though its design feels a bit old-school, all the tools are neatly organized in a standard toolbar. This means anyone, even beginners, can jump right in without any hassle. Plus, you can work on several drafts at once thanks to its support for multiple tabs.
Each document opens on its own tab, making it super simple to switch between files. If you've got a lot open, don’t worry! The "Document Selector" panel helps you find what you need quickly.
You’ll love the clipbook feature too! It allows you to view and insert HTML tags easily. You can also launch other programs like Solitaire or Notepad directly from Mini NoteTab.
The context menu gives you options to change text case (uppercase or lowercase), join or break lines, add items to your clipbook, and search for specific terms. However, one downside is that it doesn’t have a highlight function to color-code your paragraphs.
With Mini NoteTab, you can enter URLs and set date and time stamps in your documents. You can also wrap text within the window and customize fonts with different types, colors, and sizes!
The preferences section lets you enable auto-saving for both positions and files. You can create backups, track directories, convert binaries, hide menus/toolbar elements, keep the app on top of others, or send it to the system tray.
