So, why would you want to use MiFlash? Well, sometimes updating your device automatically just doesn't work. If that happens, manually flashing the latest ROM can save the day! This is super important because updates often come with security patches that keep your device safe.

Check Your Device Status

The first thing you need to do is check if your device is locked. You can do this by visiting the tool's homepage. Look for a full star next to your ROM version. If it’s locked, you’ll need to unlock it first; otherwise, flashing won’t work.

Getting Ready to Flash

You’ll also need a valid ROM. Download it from that homepage I just mentioned and load it into MiFlash. Oh, and don’t forget to back up any important files on your device before you start!

Entering Fastboot Mode

Now, let’s get your device ready for flashing! First, turn off your phone. Then put it into Fastboot mode by pressing and holding both the "Volume -" and "Power" buttons at the same time until it boots up. After that, connect it to your computer.

Flashing Your Device

You’re almost there! Once everything is set up, open MiFlash again, load in the ROM you downloaded earlier, and hit that "Flash" button. Just like that, you're all set!
