How to Update ProClarity Analytics Server

Before diving into the update, here’s a quick tip: always back up your original files before installing any hotfix or service pack. Ready? Let’s get started on updating ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 with SP2.

1. First, extract the service pack components onto your computer. Just remember to put them on your hard drive, usually the C drive.


2. Next, double-click on PAS63Hotfix2217.exe. Heads up! The installation will stop and restart IIS automatically.


3. Don’t forget to clear the PAS Cache! You can find instructions for this in the ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 Setup Guide.

Updating ProClarity Dashboard Server

If you’re looking to update ProClarity Dashboard Server 6.3 with SP2, just double-click on PDSHotfixInstaller_6.3.2217.188.exe.

Distributing SP2 to Users

If you want to share SP2 with your ProClarity Professional users, follow these steps:

1. On a computer that has ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3, open the PAS Administration Tool.


2. In the left pane of this tool, right-click on the Components folder and select New Component.


3. A dialog box will pop up; browse for the hotfix components and choose PRO63Hotfix2217.xml.


4. Click OK! You’ll see the update in the details pane of the Administration Tool.
