Mgosoft PDF Merger Command Line is a handy tool that lets you combine two or more PDF files into one without needing Adobe Reader or any other software. It's pretty cool because it has lots of options to customize things like font size and text color. You can even add stamps anywhere you want in your document!
The best part? You don’t need to install it! Just download the executable file, and you can save it wherever you want—on your hard drive or even a USB flash drive. This means you can easily launch it on any computer without going through a setup process. Plus, it won’t mess with your Windows registry or add files without your permission.
You can start using Mgosoft PDF Merger from the Command Prompt. Once you've checked out the plain text document included in the download, you'll see all the command-line arguments you'll need.
The basic command is pdfmerger [options]. To merge PDFs, you'll specify input files with -i, set a name for the new file with -o, and even log details about what you've done with -l.
If you're feeling creative, you can also password-protect your merged document using -w. Want to change how the text looks? Adjust the font size with -ts (the default is 16 points) and pick a text color using -tc, which ranges from 0 to 16777215 (default is red).
You can position stamps by using -tp, where numbers from 1 to 9 represent spots like top-left (1) or center (9). And if you want to get fancy, adjust the stamp angle with -tr, or set offsets for horizontal and vertical positioning using -tx and -ty.
This tool also allows adding watermarks under existing content using -tg, plus there's an option to register the application with -r. If you're ever unsure about something, just type in -? to see all command-line options at a glance. They even include examples in the Readme file!
During our tests, this tool merged PDFs quickly without hogging system resources. We didn't run into any errors, crashes, or hangs while using it. Overall, Mgosoft PDF Merger Command Line provides advanced settings for anyone who wants an easy way to merge multiple PDFs without diving into complicated apps.
