Metarminator

Metarminator is a handy little app for OS X that helps you clean up your music library. We all know that iTunes shows some metadata for each track, but sometimes it's not complete. That's where Metarminator comes in! It lets you edit and add new info to your songs super quickly.

Edit Metadata Easily

You can also use Metarminator to wipe out personal metadata, like purchase details or your iTunes store info. Want to clear everything? You can do that too! Just choose whether to erase all the data or only certain tags.

Getting Started with Metarminator

To kick things off, just unzip the package and drag the Metarminator app into your Applications folder. After that, launch the app and simply drag and drop the tracks you want to fix right onto its main window.

User-Friendly Interface

The app has a drop-down menu where you can pick which song you want to tweak. The main area shows different fields you can edit: general details, lyrics, copyright info, artwork—pretty much everything!

Stay Safe While Editing

If you're worried about messing something up, don't stress! You can open the Fields Filters drawer in the app's main window and turn off any fields you don't want to change. This way, it's super easy to avoid mistakes.

Simplified Saving Process

The layout is really intuitive too. Just type in what you need for each field and hit the “Save” button at the bottom right corner of the screen when you're done!
